Plein Air in the French Countryside


The sheep were BAA'ing at me as I painted them from the fence.

There was a door one story up that opened up to nothing but the drop below, so I happily sat in the doorway with my feet dangling.
The shed that houses a 300 year old wood oven. We baked INCREDIBLE pizzas in that thing!


I really do miss that lifestyle. Working in the fields during the day, followed by a painting

the door that led to nothing is for dropping hay down onto cattle pulled wagons during the winter back in the good ol' days (circa before '95/'97), now it's all done by tractor and hay doesn't doesn't need to be stored in barns :)
